Clearly explained, thanks. I’m puzzling with the next step: how to share the same SQL server database in this example? The database must reside within the dropbox folder, and the XAMPP application should point to the right location. Can this be set up ?

Nicely worded and explained…dropbox is awesome and has allowed me to stop using crap sites like yousendit.com, but I for some reason my “copy public link” option fails to show up on certain public files.
